Valdez Lawns Care LLC is a locally owned lawn care and landscaping business serving residential customers in Queens County, New York. Throughout these Terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Valdez Lawns Care LLC, and “you” refers to the customer or website visitor.
Our Services
We offer a range of lawn care and landscaping services, including weekly lawn mowing and maintenance, shrub and hedge trimming, dethatching and overseeding, landscaping design and installation, sod installation, and spring and fall cleanups. Our regular maintenance season usually runs from April through November, when the growing season comes to an end. The exact services we provide for you will be agreed on before the work begins.
Quotes and Estimates
Before we start a job, we will give you a quote based on the size and condition of your property and the work you want done. A quote is our best estimate at the time we give it. If we arrive and find that the property is in a different condition than described, or you ask us to do extra work, the final price may change. If that happens, we will talk it over with you first.
Scheduling and Access
We do our best to show up on time and to keep to the schedule we agree on. For us to do the work, you need to give us safe access to your property, including any gates, side yards, or backyards. Please make sure pets are secured and that the areas we need to reach are clear. If we cannot get access when we arrive, we may have to reschedule, and a trip charge could apply.
Weather and Seasonal Delays
Lawn care depends a lot on the weather. Heavy rain, storms, frozen ground, or other conditions outside our control can push back scheduled visits. When that happens, we will reschedule your service as soon as it is safe and practical to do so. We appreciate your patience when the weather does not cooperate.
Payment
Payment is due as agreed when we book the work, whether that is after each visit, weekly, or monthly. We will let you know which payment methods we accept. If an invoice is not paid by its due date, we may pause service until the balance is settled. Please reach out to us if you ever have a question about a charge, and we will be glad to sort it out.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule a visit, we ask that you let us know ahead of time so we can adjust our route for the day. For ongoing maintenance plans, you can stop service by telling us, and any balance owed for work already done will still be due. We may also stop service if needed, and we will give you reasonable notice if we do.
Your Responsibilities
To help us do the best job possible, please point out anything on your property we should know about, such as sprinkler heads, buried wires, pet stakes, garden beds, or fragile plants you want us to avoid. We take care while we work, but we cannot be responsible for damage to hidden or unmarked items we were not told about.
Quality of Work
We take pride in our work and want you to be happy with your lawn. If something does not look right after a visit, let us know within a reasonable time and we will come back to make it right where we can. Lawns are living things, though, and results can depend on soil, weather, watering, and how the lawn is cared for between visits, so we cannot guarantee a specific look or growth outcome.
Limitation of Liability
We carry out our work with care and skill. Still, to the extent allowed by law, Valdez Lawns Care LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses connected with our services or your use of this website. Where we are found responsible for a loss, our liability will not be more than the amount you paid us for the service in question. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under New York law.
Website Use
The content on our website, including text, photos, our logo, and our project gallery, belongs to Valdez Lawns Care LLC and is meant for your personal, non-commercial use. Please do not copy, reuse, or republish it without our permission. We try to keep the information on the site accurate and up to date, but we cannot promise it is free of every error.
